Too many people get various types of treatment to appear younger without any physical health benefits, and the results can look unnatural. This method can reverse facial collapse without surgery, or facial fillers and get facial support that optimizes the shape of the patient's face. It has been successful in patients from 14 to 93 years of age.
Bite Collapse, Jaw Collapse, and Facial Collapse are reversible without jaw surgery, braces, clear aligners, and especially without drilling down your healthy teeth. The invasive methods utilized today are outdated and destructive to the patient and now can, in most cases, be avoided entirely. The non-invasive technique is why so may younger patients are getting their faces, jaws, and bites optimized to their original anatomical structures that transform their lives.
Younger patients and mature patients can have a collapsed jaw position and the reasons why are directly related to the teeth and bite. If the patient has teeth that are too small, then the jaw and the face have a collapsed position even though their dentist says, "You have a good bite." If the patient clenches and grinds a lot, they wear down their bite and teeth that cause the jaw to be in a collapsed position, which causes facial collapse.
A misaligned jaw can cause an open bite, and in this instance, the jaw is not collapsed. Most patients with misaligned jaws have underbites, overbites, crossbites, and bad bites with TMJ issues. A Misaligned Jaw is more of a mechanical problem that can cause a collapsed jaw position. We emphasize the word "position" because we have found that most people with misaligned jaws and collapsed jaw position have a standard size jaw. No surgery is required or necessary to align the jaws and optimize the bite.
Facial collapse, jaw collapse, and pain relief reversed at its source. Her functionality, combined with aesthetics, gave this patient an improved quality of life.

Jaws are shrinking very slowly after 35 years of age for most patients at a rate that is so slow, we never notice it. The jaw shrinks a little, the face droops a bit due to gravity and the teeth and bite shift and wear a little. Most of the time, when the jaw looks too small as with overbites or looks too large as with underbites, it is the size. It only appears small because the location of the jaw is in the wrong place.
The best way to reverse facial collapse for most patients is to get the Face Lift Dentistry® Method. The source of facial collapse is directly related to the location of their jaw position and the Face Lift Dentistry® method idealizes the jaw position and reverses facial failure with support from inside the mouth. It is the same problem for a mature patient that wore down their teeth as it is for a younger patient with small teeth or a deep overbite. The jaw is in the wrong position, is it a normalizes for their bone structure and getting the jaw location optimized solves reverses the cause of facial collapse at the source.
Most patients don't speak very clearly and usually are moving their jaws in odd directions to function. Some patients cannot sleep very well or breathe as quickly as they often could. Other patients have jaw pain, neck pain, and headaches. When all of this is considered, the side effects of a collapsed jaw decrease the quality of life, causing premature aging.
Most patients that have TMJ problems have a misaligned jaw, and some of them have a collapsed jaw position. The functionality of the TMJ is compromised. The patient cannot breathe and cannot sleep as well because the jaw is closing too far.
Other patients have TMJ pain and headaches. The reason that patients that are suffering from jaw pain, head pain, facial pain, and TMJ pain is because the jaw, bite and TMJ are misaligned to such a degree that they cannot physically usually function. Most of the time, functionality is corrected by reversing the causes of jaw collapse and TMJ pain at the source of the problem.
One method requires drilling down your teeth for porcelain crowns and full mouth reconstruction. Another way is to surgically move the jaw and cut the jaw, which also requires a year or two of orthodontics. The preferred Face Lift Dentistry® method is non-invasive, and healthy teeth are not drilled down by the den. No jaw surgery is required, no orthodontics, braces or clear aligners are necessary. With this method, the teeth get a new high-tech layer of porcelain called VENLAY® Restorations.
